A big part of what we do is to raise funds for things Pinewood needs or wants for our students, staff, and sometimes families. We plan on having a variety of types of fundraisers so hopefully everyone can participate in something and help us do more for our community.

What do we do with these funds?
How do we use these funds? Your contributions directly impact the Pinewood community in the following ways:
* **PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports):** We support our school’s reward system by providing prizes and supplies for celebrations that recognize students for meeting or exceeding expectations.
* **Recess & Classroom Enrichment:** We purchase new equipment for outdoor play and engaging quiet activities for students to enjoy when they finish their classwork.
* **Community Building:** We host exciting events that give families the opportunity to bond and create lasting memories together.
* **Staff Appreciation:** We love to celebrate our dedicated teachers and staff by showing them how much we value their hard work and commitment to our students.
* **Classroom Grants:** Teachers and staff can request funds for special items to enhance their lessons, such as classroom book sets or innovative teaching tools.
* **5th Grade Celebrations:** We provide support to help our graduating 5th graders celebrate their achievements as they prepare to head off to middle school.
* **School Assemblies:** Our goal is to bring more fun, excitement, and enrichment to the school day for every student to enjoy.
* **Field Trips:** We are proud to subsidize learning opportunities outside the classroom, such as covering up to $15 per student for field trip costs.
